Our chairman, president and CEO is so engaged in ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace that he chartered a team to take an in-depth look into how employees of various ethnic groups felt about their opportunities at Rockwell Collins. This "CEO Challenge" team reviewed data and conducted focus groups to better identify themes around areas of improvement. Project teams are now working on changes needed to help drive better hiring and retention of minority groups.
Because of the company's continued focus on our people, leadership responsibility for diversity and inclusion is held at the highest level in Human Resources in a role known as the senior vice president of People and Inclusion.
