Jeff Johnson is staff vice president leading Rockwell Collins’ Surface Transportation and Critical Infrastructure business. In this role, Jeff leads an outstanding team that provides services and product integration to the railroad, infrastructure security and cyber security sectors. These services include rail command and control suites, Positive Train Control (PTC) and custom development of nuclear power plant security and critical infrastructure cyber security products and services.
Johnson joined Rockwell Collins in 2012 after a 30-year career in the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard as a fighter pilot and commander, culminating in his retirement as a Brigadier General. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to his current role, Jeff led the IMS Government Aviation Services business. In this role he was responsible for extending IMS aviation service into the global government aviation sector. Previous to that he was a leader in the IMS business aviation unit, ARINCDirect where he directed the businesses technical support, business development and business operations functions, as well as serving at the ARINCDirect Chief People Officer.
Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Thomas Edison University. He also holds a graduate certificate in leadership from the United States Air Force Fighter Weapons Instructor School and he is a graduate of the National Defense University CAPSTONE General Officer and Flag Leadership course. He is a member of the Air Force Association, a life member of the National Guard Association of the United States, and held a position as member of the National Business Aviation Association’s Leadership Council.
