GuS Integrated Sensor Suite

Overview

The GuS from Rockwell Collins is an integrated sensor suite that gives you complete INS/GPS/ADAHRS and flight control capabilities. It uses microelectromechanical systems sensors, including accelerometers, rate gyros, a magnetometer and air data pressure sensors, plus a differential-ready, Wide Area Augmentation System-enabled GPS receiver. Built-in, automatic hard iron compensation lets you quickly and easily install the unit.

Athena GuS includes all the analog and digital I/O interface hardware required to accommodate a variety of vehicle configurations and payloads. Weighing only 0.25 lbs., it has a low-volume footprint of 4.5-by-2-by-1 cubic inches and meets typical environmental requirements for shock, vibration, temperature and humidity. Rockwell Collins also provides an external magnetometer unit, sold separately, that can interface with the GuS if required.
